Day 1: Imlil village

Beginning in Imlil Our journey begins in the picturesque village of Imlil, the gateway to the Toubkal National Park. Here, amidst terraced fields and walnut groves, we meet our local guides and set out on our trek towards the mountain. The trail winds through rustic Berber villages, where mud-brick homes cling to the mountainside, offering glimpses into traditional mountain life.

In the village you can admire the starry sky at night on one of the many roof tops set up in the hostels.
At the morning, you can take your breakfast at a roof top and enjoy a breathtaking view of the summit. The hospitality of the people will pleasantly surprise you!

Day 2: Base Camp

Ascending to Base Camp As we ascend higher into the mountains, the landscape transforms into a rugged wilderness of rocky slopes and alpine meadows. With each step, we are rewarded with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and deep valleys below. After a challenging day of hiking, we reach our base camp nestled beneath the imposing massif of Toubkal, where we rest and prepare for the final push to the summit.

Toubkal Base Camp: Refuge Les Mouflons

In fact, there is to places where you can stay at the base Camp, but the most famous is the “Refuge Toubkal Les Mouflons”. You can opt for a single room, double room or a bed in a dormitory. There is room for all budgets.

The refuge is well equipped, very well heated with helpful staff. It has a breathtaking view of the valley you have just climbed

Day 3: Summit day

Summiting Toubkal Before dawn breaks, we set out on the final ascent to the summit of Toubkal. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the mountain peaks, we navigate steep switchbacks and rocky and snowy terrain, fueled by determination and awe-inspiring views.

Finally, after hours of exertion, we reach the summit, standing triumphantly atop North Africa’s highest point. The sense of accomplishment is palpable as we soak in the breathtaking vistas stretching as far as the eye can see.

Day 4: Descent
